Jill Janoff is an accomplished and versatile flutist. Her musicianship comes out consistently in performances that are imbued with feeling and beauty. She is sensitive and intuitive about the music she selects and her approach to that music.
Paul Janoff is an extremely gifted guitarist. He has a wonderful command of many styles, from classical to folk to jazz, and uses that command to enhance all kinds of musical situations. Whether as a soloist or in collaboration with other musicians, Paul plays with sensitivity and inventiveness.

I had the pleasure of working with Jill Janoff between 1989 and 1991 in Berkeley, CA. I conducted a wide variety of projects in many different styles in which Jill was involved. We had BellaFlauta (better known to us as Jill and Paul) play a medley of jazz classics for the prelude to our wedding as well as accompany a small children's choir during the processional. We asked them to play because we have heard them perform in many different contexts over the years - at weddings, funerals, concerts, church services, as dinner music, as the opening act for conferences, etc-- and have always thought they were just wonderful. What we didn't expect was the wonderful song Paul composed especially for our wedding. It was absolutely beautiful and perfectly expressed our relationship and commitment to each other. We had heard many of Paul's compositions over the years, some whimsical, some somber, some funny, some haunting, and all of them truly inspired, so it was such a blessing to be the special recipients of his talents. Jill is also an extraordinary musician--extremely versatile and with a true heart and soul for whatever type of music she puts her hand to.
If we had to sum it up, we would put it this way...You would be nuts not to hire these guys. They're great!
